Putting children on their path to success

From day one, we’ll be helping lend a hand to support and guide your child toward a successful future in school, exploring his or her interests, and helping him or her find a career path that will provide your child with opportunities to further develop self-confidence and growth.

Hepburn-Lycoming School takes students from the kindergarten-3rd primary grade years to the next step in their academic and social journeys. Increased challenges in core curriculum courses and introduction to enhanced music education, such as playing a musical instrument, will help your child learn about his or her aptitudes and abilities and help shape your child's future interests.

A world of learning and opportunities awaits

Each child has a unique perspective on what he or she sees and experiences. We are excited to show your child the world and see it through his or her eyes. Apart from traditional subject areas like reading and math, students have an array of different things to learn about and experience in new and fun ways. Expression and learning go hand in hand as we use art and music to develop various skills that will take your child on learning adventures far beyond school.

School Wide Positive Behavior

Hepburn-Lycoming Primary School implements school wide positive behavior (SWPB) principles which recognize and reinforce the school district’s behavioral expectations for all students. Student expectations are the 4 Bs:

  • Be Present
  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible
  • Be Safe
