Our Schools
Welcome to the Williamsport Area School District (WASD) and thank you for visiting our website. The WASD is committed to the success of all students, and, through valuable partnerships with local universities, businesses, public service organizations, hospitals, and district residents, our schools provide outstanding programming. Our faculty and staff approach education from a whole-child perspective that challenges the hearts and minds of all kids.
The WASD provides an impressive blend of rigorous academic courses, relevant career and technical education tracks, and a host of opportunities in the fine arts fields. Our district also offers and encourages our students to be involved in exciting extra-curricular opportunities, such as athletics.
I encourage you to explore our website and hope that you return often to learn about the many exciting things that are occurring here. Once again, thank you for taking the time to learn about our school district, and I hope to see you at a district event in the future.
Sincerely,
Dr. Timothy S. Bowers
