WAHS Celebrates 2023 Homecoming, Crowns This Year's King and Queen

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (OCTOBER 2, 2023) — Williamsport Area High School celebrated Homecoming on Friday, Sep. 29.
The Millionaires faced off against Central Mountain (a win, 47-13) and held its annual ceremony for those seniors on this year's Homecoming Court.
Congratulations to Waylon Dauber and Elizabeth Stoica for being named the 2023 WAHS Homecoming King and Queen.
Those on the Court this year were:
- Nevaeh Cary was escorted by Tre Brown. Nevaeh is the daughter of Stanley and Zoraida Cary. She is a member of the Red Cross Club and also volunteers at UPMC. She plans to go to college to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Tre is the son of Gary and Kim Brown. Tre is a member of the Executive Board and FBLA. He's also on the varsity baseball and football teams. He plans to attend a four-year college for finance.
- Angelina Erby was escorted by Niquise Coleman. Angelina is the daughter of Angela Dimarco. She is a member of the yearbook staff and a varsity cheerleader. She also cheers on the competitive team. She plans to attend college and major in physical therapy. Niquis is the son of Danyelle Taylor. He is a member of the football team and is the 2023 district champion in 300 meter hurdles on the track team. After high school, he plans to study exercise science in college.
- Emlyn Kinley was escorted by Thomas Takach. Emlyn is the daughter of Seth and Gwynne Kinley. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Red Cross Club and Executive Board, serving as class president her junior year and vice president her senior year. She is a member of the varsity tennis and softball teams. She plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to earn a degree in radiography. Thomas is the son of Steve and Kristin Takach. He serves as vice president of his senior class Executive Board and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is a member of the varsity golf, basketball and track-and-field teams. He also volunteers for Make-a-Wish. He plans to attend college and become a sports broadcaster.
- Natalia Mills was escorted by Quentin Mazzante. She is the daughter of Nikki Mills. She is a member of the school yearbook and chosen to be a member of the Hope Squad. She is on the varsity cheer squad and a member of the track-and-field team. She plans to enter the medical field after high school. Quentin is a member of the varsity soccer and baseball teams and is a volunteer with Make-a-Wish. He plans to attend college to major in accounting.
- Nataliya Mills was escorted by Cyn-sere Coney. She is the daughter of Nikki Lee. She is a member of the yearbook and Hope Squad. She also is a varsity cheerleader and member of the track team. She plans to attend college to study criminal justice. Cyn-sere is the son of Erin Timmons. He was chosen this year to be a member of the Hope Squad. He is involved in competitive cheerleading and track-and-field — and is also this year's Mr. Millionaire. He plans to attend and cheer for Louisiana State University and then serve in the U.S. Air Force.
- Elizabeth Stoica was escorted by Waylon Dauber. Elizabeth is the daughter of Susan Stoica. She is a member of the Red Cross Club and cross country and track teams. She plans to become a biomedical scientist. Waylon is the son of Jason and Alyson Dauber. He is a member of the fly fishing club and GQ men's choir. He is a member of the varsity football and track-and-field teams. He plans to attend college and continue to play football.
