WASD Bids Farewell to 21 Retirees in Video Tribute

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (JUNE 5, 2024) — As the Williamsport Area School District eyes the end of another school term, it pledged its farewell to 21 retirees.
In a video tribute, administrators and supervisors said goodbye to this year's class of retirees, who, together, represent a combined 402 years of experience.
Those retiring this year:
- Christopher Anderson, warehouse stock clerk/custodian, 32.5 years
- Debra Baier, teacher, Williamsport Area High School, 18 years
- Michelle Bitner, teacher, Curtin Intermediate School, 28 years
- Kimberly Brosan, secondary librarian, Williamsport Area HS/MS, 20 years
- Debora Clarkson, food service, Lycoming Valley Intermediate School, 13 years
- Maureen Dincher, food service, Jackson Primary School, 8.5 years
- John Eck, teacher, Williamsport Area High School, 25 years
- David Fink, teacher, Williamsport Area Middle School, 24 years
- Elizabeth Fronk, teacher, Lycoming Valley Intermediate School, 18.5 years
- Robyn Hannan, teacher, Williamsport Area Middle School, 28.5 years
- Connie Hess, food service, Hepburn-Lycoming Primary School, 22 years
- Timothy Kennedy, custodian, Williamsport Area High School, 11 years
- Kurtis Kunze, administrative accountant, District Service Center, 7 years
- Ben Laurenson, school police officer, Curtin Intermediate School, 9 years
- Angela Lyles, aide, Curtin Intermediate School, 9 years
- Shelley Lewis, administrative support, District Service Center, 9 years
