5 WAHS Musicians Moving on to All-State PMEA Orchestra

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (MARCH 13, 2017) — Five of the 11 Williamsport Area High School students who recently performed in Pennsylvania Music Educators Association's (PMEA) Region Orchestra secured placement in the PMEA All-State Orchestra.
The five students qualified to perform at the state level through competitive audition. Those students are: Alisha Chen and William Knauth, viola 1; Juliet Jacques, viola; Ben Byham, double bass; and Michael LeBlanc, trombone. 
These students will perform with the PMEA All-State Orchestra in April in Erie.
Those performing with the Region Orchestra were:
William Knauth, Alisha Chen and Samuel Stea, violin;
Julie Jacques, Megan Wike and Anna Zeigler, viola;
Joe Dinsmore and Kaylee Hornberger, cello;
Ben Byham and Nicole Beck, bass; and
Michael LeBlanc, trombone.
